As a result of sowing on May 1, 2001, and having done 9 sessions of 16-hour dark treatment from July 28 until August 27, the first flower opened on September 8. The flower opened at about 5 p.m. and was photographed at 5:30 p.m. (582-25 2001.9.8 photo by YY)
