4 After the anther is broken, pollen comes out.
5 On a head of a pistil, spherical pollen is gathered close together. When we see this, we say that the flower is pollinated.
6 The stamens and a pistil in the opening flower. Some stamens grow higher than a pistil. When some stamens grow, they touch the head of the pistil. When this happens, the pollen rubs off the stamens and onto the pistil.

A point of observation

On rare occasions, we see no pollens shed from the anther, even in opened flowers. When this lack of pollen occurs, let's record the temperature, the weather and the condition of the flower. In addition, let's examine the variety of the morning glory.
Look at the pollen with a microscope, if one is available. It will be interesting to compare the pollens of the morning glory with the pollens of other plants.
